Will I be sharing a room with another resident?

Private and semi-private accommodations are available based on personal needs. At all Carington nursing facilities we take the time to consider your personality and your individual needs if we are assigning a roommate. If a problem arises we will work with you to assure that you are living comfortably.

What arrangements need to me made for me to leave the center on special occasions?

Provided there are no medical reasons for you not to leave our nursing care, arrangements can be made simply by contacting the nursing facility.

What activities are provided for residents?

We offer a diversity of activities for residents of all ages and physical abilities. We put together a calendar filled with activities that include indoor activities, outdoor activities and recreational outings. Our residents have the opportunity to be involved in outside community activities. We also place a great value on offering our residents the opportunity for spiritual growth. You will find that traditional religious services for all faiths are offered within our facilities.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

What if I have special medical needs that require regular attention?

In addition to having nurses on staff 24 hours a day, we recruit a variety of physicians to include pulmonary, nephrology and physical medicine specialists. Can my loved one have their personal mail sent to them at a Carington facility?

Residents can have all of their mail, including magazine and newspaper subscriptions, sent to the address of the facility location. Mail is delivered on a daily basis to our residents.
